उपास मज लागला...

the latest poem on my blog.. is one that i have written 2 years ago while i ws on a trip to kashmir! india's own heaven! kashmir has one of the most exotic locations that i hav ever seen.. well not that i hav seen a lot of places.. but it still qualifies as the place that gave me most beautiful memories! it is located around the lake called dal lake which also has a small island which is famously known as char chinar because of the four chinar trees that r there on the island. we had a local guide with us. he excitedly and animatedly told us a story of how mumtaj mahal when upset with shahjahan-her husband- had come to this place and shahjahan manaofied her by giving her the chinar leaf! ever since the place and the chinar leaf became the symbol of eternal love!!
Inspired by the place and the atmosphere is my poem "chinarach paan"..
i think , the smallest moments, and simplest pleasures that we give a miss in our busy schedules are, infact the ones that our family expects to share with us.. we rarely get a chance to live them again...so lets do our best to live those moments!
